Hey Cutters...

Ho Ho Ho. Merry Christmas. Happy Channukah. Happy Kwaanza. Happy Ramadan... You get the picture. Happy Holidays.

Before I get into where I have been lately let me address the Jay-Z law suit... and believe it or not this is the short version...

I never wanted to sue Jay-Z... I respect who he is as a man... He came from the bottom and built an empire... He did it through hard work, talent, and constantly finding ways to reinvent himself... I understand hard work, working up from the bottom... and I understand constantly having to reinvent yourself. I've been doing it all my life... I wanted to work out a resolution with Jay-Z that we would both be happy with, but his lawyer basically dismissed my claims, and offered very little by way of a friendly resolution... so business is business.

I own the Diamond Cutter logo just like Nike owns the Swish logo and Apple Computers owns the Apple logo... and hell, the Apple's been around since Adam and Eve...The Diamond Cutter has been my sign/trademark since as early as May of 96 and I can prove it... As for the question why didn't I say something back in Oct of 2000 when Jay-Z first started using the Diamond Cutter sign... Well for starters I never even heard of Jay-Z... I had NO idea who he was at the time... The first time I ever even heard someone talking about Jay-Z doing the Diamond Cutter sign... I thought how cool is that Jay-Z was a fan of DDP...

It brought back memories of Herschel Walker who was the first SUPERSTAR to throw up the Diamond Cutter... Herschel threw it up in a game in the end zone after he scored a touchdown back when he played for the Dallas Cowboys and it blew my mind... I thought of the time Karl Malone threw it up at me at a game in Houston to get my attention when I was watching him play 20 rows up in the stands and again did it in the playoffs in game 6 against the Bulls...I thought of my buddy Derrick Brooks and how he throws up the Diamond Cutter to pump up the crowd in Tampa Bay... I was blown away that these SUPERSTARS... were fans of DDP the same way I was a HUGE fan of them... but you don't have to take my word for any of what I just wrote... just pick my book "Positively Page" and go to page 357 and read the 19th chapter... Karl... Herschel and Derrick all talk about the way threw up the Diamond Cutter in there own words... so let me ask you... why wouldn't I think Jay-Z was a fan of DDP...

The first time I heard Lebron James did the Diamond Cutter I was jacked to the moon... I thought HOW COOL IS THIS SH*T... Lebron James was a fan of DDP... Lebron is doing the Diamond Cutter sign... WOW... that's when my buddy told me "No, Bro... Lebron isn't doing it for you... Lebron is doing it for Jay-Z..." and I was like... Yeah so and Jay-Z is a fan... that's when my buddy smartened me up and said... "NO, bro, he's not a fan of DDP... He using the Diamond Cutter sign for himself... Jay-Z is doing the Diamond Cutter sign for Jay-Z... Jay-Z is doing it to represent Rocafella... Oh and BTW... Jay-Z isn't doing the Diamond Cutter sign Jay-Z is doing the Roc sign... Jay-Z thinks it is his sign... his logo..."

When I first heard that sh*t... I was like... say what??? What the f*ck is the Roc sign... And that was the beginning... If you want to hear more about what I just talked about go to TMZ.com. I just finished and interview with TMZ.com and it will posted on their site by today, they even have some voting thing that says."Did Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella rip off DDP's symbol?" This is a survey that is on TMZ.com - you make that call. Okay enough about this - let¹s move on...

Oh yeah and don't want to forget about this... The Best Damn Sport Show Period... took me off the Show because I used the phrase "The Best Damn Workout on the Planet" in the subtitle for "Yoga for Regular Guys"... So I'm taking it off the subtitle and changing it to the "The Best Friggin Workout on the Planet"... because I want to get on the Best Damn Sport Show. What is really cool about this is that the 25,000 books out there are now collector's items... So, if you can find one, you better get it while it is still out there... we are in the second printing as we speak...
